🩺 Clinical
Safe Sea SPF 40 is a liquid sunscreen applied to the skin to help protect against ultraviolet (UV) light exposure. It contains four UV-filter ingredients (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene) that are commonly used in sunscreens to absorb and scatter UV rays. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
