Clinical
This is a topical lip balm sunscreen in stick form that contains zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet rays. The product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients and strength rather than being approved through an individual application. This lip balm is flavored and tinted for cosmetic appeal while providing sun protection to the lips.
