🩺 Clinical
This is a topical cream containing zinc oxide, marketed as a daytime facial moisturizer with sun protection factor 40 (SPF 40). Zinc oxide is commonly used as a physical (mineral) UV filter in sunscreen products, reflecting and scattering ultraviolet rays away from the skin. The product is formulated as an over-the-counter (OTC) monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than being individually reviewed.
