Clinical
This is a topical spray sunscreen marketed for the scalp and hair. It contains four active ingredients (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene) that function as ultraviolet light filters, commonly used in sunscreen products to help reduce skin exposure to UV radiation. The spray form allows application to areas like the scalp and hair that are difficult to cover with traditional sunscreen lotions. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually reviewed application.
