Clinical
Acetaminophen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and to reduce fever. Acetaminophen is in a class of medications called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). It works by changing the way the body senses pain and by cooling the body.
Read the full MedlinePlus article ↗Pentrexcilina Daytime is an oral tablet that combines three active ingredients to address symptoms commonly associated with colds and minor respiratory discomfort. Acetaminophen is typically used to reduce fever and relieve mild pain, while chlorpheniramine maleate is a first-generation antihistamine commonly used to help manage allergy-related symptoms such as itching and sneezing. Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant typically used to help reduce nasal congestion. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under established FDA guidelines for its drug category rather than through an individual product application.
