🩺 Clinical
CVS Health SPF 70 Sun is a topical lotion containing five UV-filtering agents (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and oxybenzone) that work together to absorb and scatter ultraviolet radiation. This is an over-the-counter monograph sunscreen product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established category rules for sunscreen drugs rather than as an individually approved application. The combination of these active ingredients is typically used to help protect skin from UVA and UVB sun exposure when applied to exposed skin surfaces.
