Clinical
Desitin Maximum Strength is a topical paste applied to the skin to help manage diaper rash. It contains zinc oxide at 400 mg per gram, a mineral ingredient typically used in barrier products for minor skin irritation. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established guidelines for diaper rash treatments rather than as an individually approved product.
