🩺 Clinical
Neutrogena Beach Defense Water Plus is an over-the-counter sunscreen stick containing four ultraviolet (UV) filters: avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene. These ingredients are commonly combined in sunscreen products to absorb and scatter both UVA and UVB rays from the sun. The stick form is applied topically to the skin and is designed to provide broad-spectrum sun protection. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it follows the FDA's established category rules for over-the-counter sunscreens rather than being individually reviewed as a new drug application.
