Clinical
Active Skin Repair is a topical lotion containing zinc oxide, a mineral sunscreen ingredient. Zinc oxide is commonly used in sunscreens to reflect and scatter ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for sunscreen products rather than being individually approved. The lotion form is applied to the skin for daytime sun protection.
