This is an over-the-counter topical cream sold under FDA's OTC monograph rules for sunscreen and moisturizing products. It contains five UV-filtering chemicals (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and oxybenzone) that are typically used together to absorb and scatter ultraviolet rays from the sun. The product is formulated as a daytime moisturizer with an SPF 15 sun protection rating and also contains alpha hydroxy acids, which are commonly included in skin care creams to help exfoliate and soften the outer skin layer.
