🩺 Clinical
This is a topical lip balm in stick form that contains zinc oxide, an inorganic mineral commonly used in sunscreen products to block ultraviolet rays from the sun. The product is marketed as an over-the-counter drug under FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen ingredients, meaning it follows the established safety and use guidelines for this category rather than undergoing individual product review. Zinc oxide functions as a physical UV filter and is typically included in lip care products intended to help protect lip skin from sun exposure.
