🩺 Clinical
This is an over-the-counter oral tablet sold as a monograph product (meaning it follows FDA's established rule-book for its category rather than undergoing individual approval). It contains acetaminophen, commonly used as a pain reliever and fever reducer; pyrilamine maleate, a type of antihistamine typically found in products meant to help with allergy or cold symptoms; and caffeine, a central nervous system stimulant often included to enhance alertness. The combination is typically used to address multiple symptoms at once.
