🩺 Clinical
Surface SPF 50 is a tinted mineral sunscreen lotion applied to the skin. It contains zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter that typically absorbs and reflects ultraviolet radiation from the sun. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than undergoing individual FDA review. The lotion formulation also provides water resistance for use during swimming or sweating.
