Clinical
This is a topical cream sunscreen containing zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter commonly used in sunscreen products to help reflect and scatter ultraviolet rays away from the skin. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen under FDA's monograph rules for the sunscreen drug category, rather than as an individually reviewed application. The cream formulation is applied to the skin for typical sun protection purposes.
