🩺 Clinical
This is an over-the-counter lip balm in lipstick form applied topically to the lips. It contains two active ingredients, octisalate and oxybenzone, which are ultraviolet (UV) filters typically used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from sun exposure. The product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and effectiveness standards for sunscreen lip balms rather than undergoing individual product review.
