Clinical
This is a topical lotion sunscreen containing zinc oxide at a concentration of 22 grams per 100 milliliters. Zinc oxide is a mineral ingredient commonly used in sunscreens to reflect and scatter ultraviolet light away from the skin. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than being reviewed as a new drug application. The lotion form is typically applied to exposed skin.
