Clinical
This is a topical liquid antiseptic marketed under FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for first aid products. It contains benzalkonium chloride, a disinfectant commonly used in first aid preparations to help reduce bacteria on minor cuts, scrapes, and other small wounds. The product is applied directly to the skin as an aid in preventing infection of minor injuries. Benzalkonium chloride functions as an antimicrobial agent in topical antiseptic formulations.
