Clinical
This is an over-the-counter lozenge containing pectin, a thickening substance commonly used in cough drops. Pectin is typically included in lozenges intended to coat and soothe the throat during coughing. This product is marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for cough drop and throat lozenge products rather than through individual drug approval. The berries flavor is a flavoring agent in the formulation.
