Clinical
This is a topical lotion containing three active ingredients that function as ultraviolet (UV) filters in sunscreen products. Avobenzone, homosalate, and octisalate are commonly used together to absorb UV radiation and help protect skin from sun exposure. The lotion form allows the ingredients to be spread over the skin surface. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen category products rather than undergoing individual approval.
