Clinical
Play Lip Balm with Acai is a topical stick product that combines sunscreen active ingredients with a lip balm base. Avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene are ultraviolet light absorbers typically used in sunscreen formulations to help protect the lip area from sun exposure. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established ingredient rules for lip sunscreen products rather than undergoing individual product review. The balm format allows for convenient topical application to the lips.
