Clinical
Glow Gloss Lip Balm SPF 40 is a topical gel product marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen under FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen products. It contains four UV-filtering ingredients (homosalate, octocrylene, avobenzone, and octisalate) that are commonly used together in sunscreens to help absorb ultraviolet light and protect skin from sun exposure. This product is designed to be applied to the lips and is flavored with pink peppermint. Like all sunscreen products, its protective effect depends on proper and repeated application.
