Clinical
Arth RX Topical Analgesic is an over-the-counter lotion applied to the skin to help relieve minor aches and pains. It contains two active ingredients: capsaicin, derived from chili peppers and typically used to reduce localized pain and discomfort, and methyl nicotinate, a compound that commonly produces warming sensations on the skin. This product is marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for topical pain-relief products rather than as an individually approved drug application.
