Clinical
This is a topical cream sunscreen containing zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter that functions as a broad-spectrum sun-protective agent, typically used to help block ultraviolet radiation from reaching the skin. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for sunscreen products rather than undergoing individual product review. The cream formulation is applied directly to the skin for daily sun protection.
