Clinical
This is an over-the-counter sunscreen cream applied to the skin. It contains zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter that is typically used in sunscreens to help block ultraviolet rays from the sun. The product is formulated as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under established FDA safety and effectiveness rules for sunscreen products rather than through an individual drug application. It is labeled as SPF 40, indicating its intended sun protection level.
