This is a topical sunscreen lotion marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug under FDA regulations for its category. It contains zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter that is commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin. The product is formulated at a strength of 250 mg/g and is labeled with an SPF 40 rating. Tinted mineral sunscreens like this one are typically applied to exposed skin areas before sun exposure.
