Both minerals function as physical sunscreen agents that work by reflecting and scattering ultraviolet rays away from the skin. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than being individually approved. It is commonly applied to exposed skin to help protect against sun exposure.
