Clinical
This is a liquid foundation makeup product applied to the skin that contains two sunscreen UV filters, octinoxate and oxybenzone, each included to help absorb and block ultraviolet rays from the sun. The product is marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen cosmetic under FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually approved drug application. Foundation products containing these UV-absorbing agents are typically used to provide sun protection while evening out skin tone and texture.
