🩺 Clinical
Prequel Sun Barrier Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is a topical cream containing zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter commonly used in sunscreen products to help block ultraviolet radiation from the sun. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and labeling rules for sunscreen products rather than being individually reviewed. Zinc oxide in sunscreen formulations typically works by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin.
