🩺 Clinical
This is a topical lip balm marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen product under FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen drugs. The four active ingredients (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene) are ultraviolet light absorbers typically used together to provide broad-spectrum UV protection. When applied to the lips, these chemical sunscreen agents are designed to help protect the lip skin from UV exposure. Because this product is an OTC monograph drug, it is formulated according to FDA's established standards for sunscreen products rather than through individual product approval.
