Clinical
This is a tinted emulsion (lotion) applied to the skin that contains zinc oxide, a mineral sunscreen ingredient. Zinc oxide is commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation by sitting on the skin's surface and reflecting UV rays away. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen under FDA's OTC monograph rules, which means its formulation follows established category guidelines rather than individual FDA approval.
