Clinical
Code Red Eye Drops is an over-the-counter liquid solution applied directly to the eye. It contains glycerin, which functions as a lubricant and demulcent to soothe dry or irritated eyes, and naphazoline hydrochloride, a decongestant typically used to reduce redness and relieve minor eye irritation. This product is marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for eye drops rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
