🩺 Clinical
This is a tinted emulsion applied to the skin that contains zinc oxide, a mineral ingredient commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The product is marketed as an over-the-counter drug under the FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than through individual product approval. Zinc oxide works by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin surface. This particular formulation is designed to provide sun protection while also functioning as a cosmetic tint for the face.
