Clinical
This is a topical lotion conditioner containing pyrithione zinc, an antimicrobial ingredient commonly used in over-the-counter scalp and hair care products. Pyrithione zinc is typically included to help reduce flaking and irritation associated with certain scalp conditions. The product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and effectiveness rules for this category rather than being individually approved. It is applied directly to the scalp and hair during regular hair care routines.
