🩺 Clinical
Black Girl Sunscreen is a broad spectrum sunscreen lotion applied to skin to help protect against ultraviolet (UV) rays. It contains four active ingredients (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene) that function as UV filters, each absorbing different wavelengths of sunlight. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients and concentrations rather than being individually reviewed by the agency.
