Clinical
Sun Control Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is a topical cream that contains three active ingredients commonly used in sunscreen products. Homosalate and octisalate are organic UV filters that typically absorb ultraviolet rays, while zinc oxide is an inorganic UV filter that functions by reflecting and scattering UV light. Together, these ingredients are formulated to help protect skin from both UVA and UVB radiation. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug marketed under established FDA category rules for sunscreen products.
