Clinical
Simethicone Drops is an oral liquid product containing dimethicone (also called simethicone), an anti-gas agent. It is typically used to reduce bloating and discomfort caused by trapped gas in the stomach and intestines. This ingredient works by breaking up gas bubbles so they can be more easily passed from the body. Simethicone is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for this category of anti-gas products.
