Clinical
This is an over-the-counter topical patch containing salicylic acid at 40% concentration. Salicylic acid is commonly used in wart and corn removers to help break down the tough outer layer of skin on these growths. The patch format allows the active ingredient to stay in contact with the affected area. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for this category rather than undergoing individual product review.
