This is a topical sunscreen cream containing four UV-filtering ingredients: ethylhexyl salicylate, homosalate, octocrylene, and zinc oxide. The first three are chemical UV absorbers typically used to help shield skin from ultraviolet radiation, while zinc oxide is a mineral UV reflectant that works by a different mechanism. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually approved application.
