Clinical
This is a topical gel wart remover that contains salicylic acid, a common over-the-counter ingredient typically used to soften and help remove warts and other thickened skin growths. The product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for this category of skin-care product rather than being individually reviewed. Salicylic acid works by breaking down the protein in the outer skin layer, which helps gradually shed the affected tissue.
