Clinical
This is a topical liquid sunscreen lotion containing zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a physical sunscreen agent that is commonly used to help block and reflect ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. The product is formulated for application to the face and body and is marketed with an SPF 50 rating. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is regulated under FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually approved medication.
