Clinical
Syborg Salts is an over-the-counter smelling salt product in granule form that is inhaled through the nose. It contains ammonium carbonate and sodium carbonate as active ingredients. These salts are typically used to produce a sharp, pungent odor and vapors that may stimulate the nasal passages and respiratory reflex when inhaled. Smelling salts of this type have historically been used to help restore alertness in individuals who feel faint or lightheaded.
