Clinical
Arme Scar Gel is an over-the-counter topical gel containing dimethicone, a silicone-based ingredient commonly used in skincare products applied directly to the skin. Dimethicone functions as an occlusive agent, helping to seal moisture into the skin and create a smooth surface. This product is marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for skin protectants and is typically used on scars and other areas of skin that people wish to soften or protect.
