Clinical
Panama Jack SPF 45 Mango Lip Balm is an over-the-counter topical lip stick that contains sunscreen active ingredients and a skin protectant. The product includes four chemical UV filters (avobenzone, homosalate, octinoxate, and octisalate) that are typically used to absorb or reflect ultraviolet light, and petrolatum, a waxy substance commonly used to soften and protect lips. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it is marketed under established FDA guidelines for sunscreen lip care products rather than as an individually approved application.
