The active ingredient is zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter commonly used in sunscreens to reflect and scatter ultraviolet light away from the skin. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than being individually reviewed by the agency.
