Clinical
Verifine Alcohol Swabs is an over-the-counter topical product packaged as pre-moistened swabs containing isopropyl alcohol. This is an OTC monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for this product category rather than as an individually reviewed application. Isopropyl alcohol is commonly used on the skin as an antimicrobial agent to help reduce bacteria before minor medical procedures, injections, or wound care. These swabs are applied directly to the skin surface.
