Interaction Deep Dive

Concomitant use of pregabalin with other drugs associated with angioedema (eg, ACE inhibitors) may increase risk of developing angioedema. Angioedema has occurred in patients receiving pregabalin during both initial and chronic therapy (including life-threatening cases)1 and ACE inhibitors (including fatal cases) independently 2. Discontinue use immediately of both pregabalin and ACE inhibitor treatment if symptoms of angioedema develop 12.
