Use caution when coadministering nilotinib and cyclophosphamide2. Cyclophosphamide is activated by hepatic enzymes to produce its active metabolites 1 and nilotinib is a CYP3A4 and CYP2C9 inhibitor. Dose adjustments may be necessary 2. Concomitant administration may decrease production of the cyclophosphamide active metabolites and decrease cyclophosphamide effectiveness.
