Concomitant use of vardenafil, a CYP3A4 substrate, with a moderate CYP3A4 inhibitor such as abiraterone, may cause increased vardenafil concentrations12. Use of the orally disintegrating tablet formulation of vardenafil is not recommended with moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors, such as abiraterone 2. If concomitant use of abiraterone and film-coated vardenafil tablets is indicated, use caution and do not exceed vardenafil 5 mg every 24 hours 1. Consider increased monitoring for vardenafil adverse events.
