There is some preliminary research on beeswax-derived fatty alcohols for cholesterol and on beeswax mixtures for skin and stomach conditions, but the evidence is limited. It is generally considered safe on the skin for most people, while oral uses are less well studied.

What Is Emapalumab-lzsg Injection Used For?
Brand name: Gamifant
Gamifant is used to treat primary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) — a rare, life-threatening condition where the immune system becomes dangerously overactivated — in adults and children whose disease has not responded to, has come back during, or has progressed on standard HLH therapy, or who cannot tolerate it.
Gamifant is also used for HLH/macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) in adults and children with known or suspected Still's disease, including systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (sJIA), when glucocorticoids (steroid medicines) have not worked well enough, cannot be tolerated, or when MAS keeps coming back.
