Bowen Technique + Eprosartan
Eprosartan brand name: Teveten.
We found no known interaction between Bowen Technique and Eprosartan in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Bowen Technique and Eprosartan
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Eprosartan and Bowen Technique in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Bowen Technique alongside specific medications may be limited.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Bowen Technique at all — not against Eprosartan, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
Bowen Technique is a treatment rather than something you take. Tell whoever provides it which medicines you use, and ask your prescriber whether it is appropriate for your health and treatment. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

What Eprosartan Is Prescribed For, and What Bowen Technique Has Been Studied For
These two come up together because they touch the same health topic — not because they do the same job. Eprosartan is a prescription medicine with approved uses on its FDA label. Bowen Technique is a treatment: what follows is what researchers have looked at it for, and how strong that evidence is.
Bowen Technique has been studied for:

Stroke studied, not established Bowen Technique has been studied for this. Natural Medicines rates the evidence: Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate Read what the research shows
Bowen Technique for stroke
A small observational study in patients recovering from stroke found that receiving the Bowen technique for 30-60 minutes 13 times over 3 months is associated with improvement in gross motor function and physical health, but does not affect balance, walking, or grip strength, when compared to baseline. The validity of these findings is limited by the lack of a comparator group.

Effectiveness ratings and the research summaries above are the verbatim record from the Natural Medicines database, which grades evidence from “Effective” down to “Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate”. A rating below the top of that scale means researchers have looked at it — not that it works, and never that it can stand in for a prescribed medicine. Do not stop or replace Eprosartan on your own; if you are taking Bowen Technique for the same health topic, tell your prescriber, especially if the medicine is being adjusted to a target.
See Every Supplement That Interacts With Eprosartan
This page covers Bowen Technique only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Eprosartan page lists 138 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), American Hellebore (major), American Mistletoe (major), Tyramine (major) and Adrafinil (moderate).
By severity: 4 major · 112 moderate · 22 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Eprosartan page
“Activated charcoal deserves the first look from anyone taking eprosartan (Teveten) for blood pressure, because it can soak up the medicine in the gut and leave less of your dose to do its job. It is one of four major-rated entries among the 138 supplements and herbs on this page, enough to warrant real wariness rather than a shrug.”

Where Bowen Technique and Eprosartan Sit Against Everything Else
Out of every supplement and medication people look up on HelloPharmacist, here is where these two land this week — and which way each has been moving.
#1,111 of 1,452 supplements looked up here in the last 7 days
#838 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days
Position among everything looked up on this site, not a measure of how commonly either one is used or how important it is. A supplement can climb this list because of a news story. It counts every request to the page, automated ones included, and nothing here identifies anyone.

- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified September 20, 2026. The Bowen Technique and Eprosartan records this page draws on were last updated June 22, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Bowen Technique
What is Bowen Technique?
- Back and neck pain
- Muscle tension and stiffness
- Stress and relaxation
- Frozen shoulder
- Sports injuries
- General aches and pains
Bowen Technique is a gentle, hands-on bodywork therapy, not a supplement or herb, that uses light rolling moves over muscles and soft tissue. It is generally considered low-risk and relaxing, but high-quality scientific evidence that it treats any specific condition is limited. If you have a medical problem, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before relying on it.
Not applicable (manual bodywork therapy) · Hands-on therapy sessions performed by a trained practitioner
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Bowen Technique is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Bowen Technique record says about it on its own.
Bowen Technique: dosing
Because Bowen Technique is a hands-on therapy rather than a product you take, there is no standard dose. Treatment is given in sessions, and the number and spacing of sessions vary by practitioner and by the reason for treatment.Follow the guidance of a qualified, trained Bowen practitioner.

About Eprosartan
What Is Eprosartan Used For?
Brand name: Teveten
-
Eprosartan is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. Eprosartan is in a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
-
High blood pressure is a common condition, and when not treated it can cause damage to the brain, heart, blood vessels, kidneys, and other parts of the body. Damage to these organs may cause heart disease, a heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, loss of vision, and other problems. In addition to taking medication, making lifestyle changes will also help to control your blood pressure. These changes include eating a diet that is low in fat and salt, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising at least 30 minutes most days, not smoking, and using alcohol in moderation.

Eprosartan Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Eprosartan as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Bowen Technique — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
